MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Danish authorities registered a previous record number of 3,646 asylum applications in October, Denmark's Jyllands-Posten newspaper said.
According to official figures, over 13,000 people applied for asylum in Denmark in the first 10 months of 2015. Migrant inflow into the country has grown after Sweden imposed temporary controls on its border with Denmark.
In November, Denmark scrapped a plan to accept 1,000 refugees from other EU states due to growing numbers of migrants arriving in the country.
