MOSCOW (Sputnik) — NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg spoke earlier on Wednesday about raising the subject of reconvening the NATO-Russia Council to be used as a tool for political dialogue.
"I have not heard this statement, and I have no knowledge of any progress in this regard," Peskov said.
The work of the NATO-Russia Council was suspended on April 1, 2014, after the alliance's foreign ministers issued a statement condemning Crimea's reunification with Russia.
Crimea rejoined Russia after a referendum in which over 96 percent of voters supported the move.
