WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The favorability rating of US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has risen higher compared to her main rival Senator Bernie Sanders, according to a new poll released on Friday.
"Clinton is both well-known and well-liked among Democrats nationally, and her image improved in November compared with a month earlier," a Gallup poll said. "The image of Sanders, her principal opponent, was stagnant over the same period."
Meanwhile, Americans older than 30 see the former US secretary of state more favorably compared to Sanders, but young Democrats between 18 and 29 years have a "problem spot" for Clinton and favor the senator from Vermont, the poll said.
The results of the poll come after Clinton’s campaign took a hit in previous months after it was revealed she had used a private email account when served as US top diplomat.
