The death toll among militants from Daesh, also known as ISIL/The Islamic State, has risen as of Sunday after at least 32 terrorists were killed in the province of Raqqa, Syria reportedly at the hands of US-led coalition airstrikes, according to a UK monitoring group. Another 40 were wounded.

Syria: US-Backed NGOs Spread Myths About Civilian Deaths in Russian Strikes
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in Great Britain claimed that Daesh terrorists have been attacked more than 15 times as airstrikes targeted its positions in the group's de facto capital of Raqqa and at its outskirts.

All combat sorties carried out by the coalition hit not only Raqqa and its province but also north and east of Syria.

The Observatory also said that the Syrian city of Palmira, fully controlled by Daesh militants, has been allegedly hit by Russian air forces though the number of killed terrorists has not been specified.

November 30th marked the two month anniversary of the Russian air operation against Daesh (ISIL) and other radical jihadist groups operating in Syria, aimed at assisting the Syrian Arab Army and its allies in launching counter-offensive operations against the terrorists.

The US-led coalition has launched the anti-ISIL campaign targeting the terrorists' infrastructure in Iraq and Syria since August 2014, however, the results of US and its allies' operation have not been as impressive compared to the number of targets hit by Russia.

Russian Warplanes Hit 1,458 Terrorist Targets in Syria Over Past Week
Since the beginning of the operation, Russian forces have flown over 2,300 combat sorties and destroyed over 4,100 terrorist targets, with the Syrian Arab Army and allied forces going on the offensive across several fronts.

Daesh made inroads in both countries, making their inhabitants flee their home countries.

British lawmakers on Wednesday voted to approve bombing raids in Syria targeting Daesh thus to join a US-led campaign to destroy militants who were plotting attacks on the West.
