MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian and Indian navies have begun coastal training as part of the Indra Navy-2015 military exercises, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Eastern Military District’s press service said Monday.
“Training of the Russian and Indian inspection groups on joint actions have been held on the Boris Butoma and Shakti tankers. The commanders of the ships also held joint games in the upcoming practical actions at sea on maps,” Roman Martov, the press service’s head, said.
The active phase of the military exercises will be held December 10-12 in the Sea of Bengal.
