BEIJING(Sputnik) — Russia and China will sign a number of bilateral agreements in the field of trade, energy and aviation during the visit of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to China on December 14-17, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping said Tuesday.
"Mr Medvedev's visit will further deepen trade and economic cooperation between Russia and China and will be an important diplomatic step. The parties are expected to sign a number of agreements on cooperation in energy, space, aviation, nuclear energy and humanitarian spheres during the visit," Guoping said.
On December 16, Medvedev will address the second World Internet Conference in the town of Wuzhen in east China's Zhejiang province.
On December 16-17, the Russian prime minister will attend the 20th regular meeting of the heads of Russia's and China's governments.
