WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The two others terrorists include a senior leader of the Islamic State’s extortion network and an executive officer who coordinated transfer on information and people.
“In Iraq, we recently conducted strikes against three leaders in ISIL’s [Islamic State or Daesh] financial and leadership network,” Warren said. “In late November, we killed Abu Salah, the ISIL Financial Minister.”
Warren noted that the three men were eliminated by airstrikes near the Iraqi city of Tal Afar, which is occupied by the terrorist group.
The Islamic State, also known as Daesh, is designated a terrorist organization by numerous countries, and is outlawed in Russia.
