Donald Trump agreed to pose with the eagle, for a Time magazine cover story.
The idea came from Martin Schoeller, the award-winning portrait photographer and frequent TIME contributor who shot the cover, the magazine says.
But as soon as the presidential hopeful arranged his hair and face for the photo shoot, Uncle Sam got agitated forcing Trump to recoil in fear.
Uncle Sam kept flapping his wings and attempted to bite the billionaire while sitting on his table.
The politician however did not give up and made several shots with the bird on his arm.
