ROME (Sputnik) — Russia has no plans to launch an air campaign against Islamic State (Daesh in Arabic) terrorists in Libya, foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.
"We have no plans to carry out airstrikes in Libya as we have not received requests by the Libyan government that we could consider," Lavrov said at a joint news conference after talks with Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni in Rome.
