MOSCOW (Sputnik) — At least 42 people have been killed following the US deadly bombing of the Doctors Without Borders (MSF) hospital in Kunduz earlier in October, the humanitarian aid organization said Saturday.

On October 3, the MSF hospital in the Afghan city of Kunduz, accommodating some 200 people at the time, was hit by a series of US airstrikes. Initially it was reported the bombing killed some 30 people, including 13 staff members and 10 patients.
The US-led NATO mission formally ended its International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) combat operations in Afghanistan on December 31, 2014, transitioning to a non-combat mission in the country.
