Syrian warplanes targeted Daesh military camps in the villages of al-Souseh and Hjein on Saturday, Fars News wrote.
A number of Daesh targets were also destroyed in the villages of al-Tayaneh and al-Mrei’iyeh, killing many terrorists during the attack.
Deir Ezzur province is located in the east of Syria and is largely under the control of Daesh terrorists. The province borders Iraq and has been serving as a place where wannabe jihadists seek to join Daesh and fight against the government army.
Since September 30, Russia has been helping the Syrian armed forces to fight against Daesh and other terrorist groups in Syria at the request of President Bashar Assad. Syrian and Russian fighter jets have been targeting radicals in Deir ez-Zor province as well in order to stop the further infiltration of terrorists and arms in the area.
