Earlier, it was reported that Iraq has urged the UN Security Council to demand that Turkish troops withdraw from Iraqi territory.
Turkey sent troops and tanks to a base in northern Iraq last week setting off an angry diplomatic row with Baghdad.
Iraqi authorities said that under the pretext of training Kurdish fighters Turkey sent troops to Iraq consisting of 900 people.
Following this move, Iraq filed a complaint with the UN, but President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called it an “unfair step.”
