MOSCOW (Sputnik) — At least two law enforcement officers were seriously injured, the DPA news agency said. Earlier reports put the number of injured policemen at 40.

Earlier on Saturday, police were forced to use water cannons, tear gas and pepper spray to disperse some 200 neo-Nazi radicals and over 2,000 of their opponents after demonstrators started throwing stones at officers. About 23 people got arrested.

Police reported of 50 damaged vehicles, four of which were beyond repair.
