MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia is not supplying the Free Syrian Army with weapons, Vladimir Kozhin, Russian presidential aide on military-technical cooperation, said Monday.
"No," Kozhin told reporters, answering a question on whether Russia was providing weapons to the group.
According to the aide, Russia is also noting increased interest in weapons used in its counterterrorism operation in Syria.
"We are now seeing a surge of interest in the majority of systems we have demonstrated. One thing is to look at advertising brochures and videos, another is seeing [the weapons] actually being used, and, most importantly, the effect, the results of this use," Kozhin told reporters.
