MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Western sanctions imposed on Russia over the Ukraine conflict will be lifted as soon as the Minsk agreements are fully implemented, US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Tuesday following talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The US diplomat said steps should be made so that the accords reached in Minsk are fulfilled and efforts to solve the Ukraine crisis must continue.
He added that all parties to the conflict bear responsibility for the Minsk deal implementation.
