MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, Saudi Arabia announced the creation of an Islamic military alliance of 34 states to fight terrorism. The joint operation command center will be based in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
"Morocco is a co-founder of the [command] center and there [will be] experts, who will teach technologies and important [anti-terror] issues," Lecheheb said.
He added that creation of both coalition and command center was an important move to fight terrorism.
The coalition, which includes Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey, among other nations, was created "to counteract terrorism, which became a threat to the interests of the Islamic nation," according to a statement to announce the decision by Riyadh.
