All 28 EU Members Agree on Need to Extend Russian Sanctions for Six Months

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – An extension of sanctions against Russia will serve as proof of the European Union's shortsightedness, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov said Wednesday.

"An extension of sanctions will be another manifestation of EU's political partiality and an evidence of Brussels' very shortsighted policy," Meshkov told RIA Novosti.

He added that Moscow has noted the lack of unity among EU member states when it comes to sanctions.
