MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian Missile Forces will launch live-fire Iskander-M missiles from its Kapustin Yar Range near the city of Astrakhan on the Caspian Sea, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Southern Military District’s press service announced Wednesday.
“During the exercise, the missile troops will develop the delivery of missile strikes at a group of conditional military troops and various ground targets and infrastructures located at a distance of up to 300 kilometers [186 miles],” the press service said in a statement.
