BRUSSELS (Sputnik) Juncker made the announcement, suggesting the Commission may make the visa liberalization offer by early Friday.

Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos said the Commission adopted visa liberalization reports on Georgia, Ukraine and Kosovo.

Speaking later at a press conference, Avramopuolos said Georgia and Ukraine have implemented wide-ranging legislative and policy benchmarks set by the Commission en route to easing visa travels.

Kosovo faces eight benchmarks, including in judicial, corruption and procurement areas before the Commission proposes visa-free travel for its citizens, he noted, floating early 2016 as a possible timeframe.
