The revelation came after a family from London were blocked from boarding a flight to Disneyland in California by US authorities without any explanation; a British imam also had his visa revoked as he tried to board a flight to America.

Ajmal Masroor told London newspaper The Guardian that he was stopped by US embassy staff from boarding a Virgin flight from Heathrow to New York last week. The imam had been due to lead Friday prayers at a mosque in New York.
"I went through all the security barriers, showed my boarding pass on my phone, I had my security check, bag checked and went all the way to the gates when I was taken aside by American embassy staff. I am aware of at least 20 other cases where families are afraid to even speak out," Mr Masroor told reporters.

Mr Masroor believes that the US State Department is implementing Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump's controversial and racist policies "before he has received a single vote."

Trump has stated during his campaign to become President of the US that America should ban all Muslims from entering the country.
But British ministers aren't too impressed and are demanding an explanation from the US authorities as to why they showed Trump-esque etiquette to a British Muslim family trying to go on holiday.
Walthamstow Labour MP Stella Creasy has written to Prime Minister David Cameron asking him to press the US authorities for an explanation as to why the family were barred from the US.

Many British Muslims are blaming the anti-Muslims rhetoric uttered by Trump as to why they were stopped from boarding flights to the US.
Meanwhile, more than half a million people have signed a petition calling for the British government to stop Trump from boarding a flight in the US and entering Britain on hate speech grounds.
