MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia is prepared to share information with the US-led coalition against the Islamic State, known as Daesh in the Arab world and prohibited in many countries including Russia and the United States, on the location of militants in Syria and is expecting the same in return, the head of the Russian General Staff’s operations department said Friday.
“We are ready to provide our partners with the coordinates of Daesh facilities and are expecting from them mutual information on the infrastructure of terrorist organizations,” Lt.-Gen. Sergei Rudskoy told journalists.
He added that Russian aviation would "guarantee to continue carrying out airstrikes against terrorists."
