MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A traffic accident involving four pedestrians and a car in north England's Doncaster left three people dead on Boxing Day, local media reported Sunday.
The accident occurred at 23:00 GMT on Saturday on Sutton Road in Askern, Doncaster, resulting in the deaths of two women, aged 53 and 54, and one man, aged 59, The Independent reported. The fourth pedestrian, a man aged 56, remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 24-year-old suspect has been detained by local police on Sunday morning. Details of the suspect and the victims have not been released.
