MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia and China have agreed to establish a center of innovative cooperation, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development said in a statement Monday.
"With the support of the Russian Trade Mission in China, a quadripartite agreement was signed between Corporation of Development of the Tomsk Region, Innovative Pharmacological Research (IPHAR), China International Technology Transfer Center and Huafu Medical Technology Group during Tomsk-Jiangsu congress on establishment of Russian-Chinese Center of Innovative Cooperation," the statement said.
The international congress was held in Suzhou Industrial Park in the Jiangsu province.
Some 70 Chinese companies and 9 Russian institutions participated in the congress from November 29 to December 5, according to the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
