In return, the terrorists agreed to allow the evacuation of hundreds of civilian residents of the long-besieged Shiite villages of Fua and Kefraya in the country’s northwestern Idlib province.
According to the source, buses and ambulances have already arrived in Fua to evacuate the villagers.
Syria has been mired in civil war since 2011, with forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad fighting against numerous opposition factions and extremist groups, such as Daesh and al-Nusra Front.
