The Salsodromo, a four-hour parade of salsa dancing schools, marked the kick-off the annual Fair of Cali, one of the most important culture events in Colombia. During the event, parties, parades, concerts and beauty pageants are held in Cali, known also as "Capital de la Salsa."
The Fair of Cali is the main cultural event on the Pacific Coast of Colombia. It is held in the City of Cali, which is two hours away from the coast and is home to three million people.

The Fair has been celebrated since 1957, from December 25 to December 30.

The festival promotes cultural, ethnical, and musical diversity in the region.

Each year, dozens of thousands of tourists visit the Fair.

Dancers from different schools of salsa Cali, danced in the streets while wearing luminous costumes as part of a parade of one and a half kilometers representing the history of the city through salsa music.
