At Least Two Dead in Suicide Bombing at Somali Restaurant

A suicide bomber attacked a restaurant in the Somali capital of Mogadishu on Saturday, killing himself and at least one other person, media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Horseed Media news outlet, several people were injured in the attack and taken to hospital.

According to other media reports, three civilians were killed in the attack.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.

The al-Shabaab Islamist militants, an al-Qaeda-affiliated group, have been carrying out suicide bombings in the country since 2011.
