On January 5, Japanese film director, animator and screenwriter Hayao Miyazaki celebrated his 75th anniversary. Through a career that has spanned over 50 years, he made his name as an anime maker and a virtuoso storyteller. Miyazaki is considered one of the most popular and influential animators in cinema.
