Over 100 vehicles belonging to the terrorists were also demolished in the operation, including a number of cars equipped with explosive materials during the offensives in Barwanah and Haditah cities. The airstrikes left more than 250 Daesh militants killed.
Moreover, a number of Daesh terrorists were killed on Tuesday as fighters from Popular Mobilization Units stormed a congregation of the militants in the vicinity of the main hospital in Ramadi, situated about 110 kilometers west of Baghdad.
Daesh terrorists launched an offensive in June 2014, spreading terror and violence in the northern and western parts of Iraq, taking over large parts of the Iraqi territory.
Currently army soldiers and fighters from allied Popular Mobilization Units are fighting the terrorists to win back militant-held regions.
