MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A fire broke out at a chemical plant on Saturday after it was rocked by a massive explosion in China’s southern city of Lengshuijiang, local media reported.
A rescue operation is ongoing at the plant, located in the southeastern Hunan province, the People’s Daily reported.
The media did not specify whether any casualties have been determined yet.

In October, two people were injured and nine were reported missing after an explosion at a chemical plant in China’s eastern Shandong province.
