CAIRO (Sputnik) — Unidentified assailants killed a police officer and a recruit in the Egyptian capital of Cairo, local media reported Saturday.
The servicemen were shot on their way to work in a car, the AlHayat Egypt broadcaster said.
Egyptian law enforcement is currently searching for attackers, the television channel added.
On Friday, unidentified gunmen attacked the Bella Vista Hotel in the Egyptian resort city of Hurghada on the Red Sea coast, injuring three foreign tourists.
