MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia has information that three of its nationals who were detained in Turkey have links to foreign terrorist groups, a source said Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, Turkish Anadolu news agency reported that police found documents belonging to the detained, proving that they provided logistical support to Daesh.
"Moreover, one of them was previously put on both Russian and international wanted lists," the source said, adding that two of the detainees left Russia several years ago with the stated purpose of studying in the Middle East.
