TOKYO (Sputnik) — South Korea, Japan and the United States have agreed to put diplomatic pressure on North Korea over its recently announced nuclear test, Seoul's special representative for Korean Peninsula affairs said Wednesday.
"The Republic of Korea, the United States and Japan agree that diplomatic pressure should be put on North Korea," Hwang Joon-kook was quoted as saying by Yonhap news agency following trilateral talks.
The sides also agreed to continue contacts, as well as cooperation with China and Russia on the North Korean nuclear issue, the diplomat said.
