Russian Sports Minister to Meet with IAAF Officials Over Doping Scandal
MUNICH (Sputnik) — According to the report, Diack was aware of of the fraud and the extortion of athletes out by the IAAF governing structures under his presidency.

The agency delivered the second part of its report in Munich earlier on Thursday, while the first one was introduced in November 2015, when WADA recommended that Russia be suspended from all athletic competitions until the country cleans up its act and complies with the global anti-doping code.

In November, Diack and his lawyer were arrested in France as part of an investigation into the use of performance enhancing drugs by Olympic athletes. Diack and his representative Habib Sisse are suspected of taking bribes from the All-Russia Athletics Federation (ARAF) to conceal doping practices among Russian athletes.
