NOVO-OGARYOVO (Sputnik) – Pavlopoulos arrived in Moscow on Friday and is also set to meet with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
The Greek president is also expected to meet with representatives of the Russian business community.
"I think we would be grateful for the possibility of welcoming you to Athens this year. It’s our turn," Pavlopoulos told Putin after their meeting outside Moscow.
The visit is aimed at further improvement of bilateral relations, and is also associated with the cross-cultural year between Russia and Greece.
