BALI (Sputnik) — According to the Detik news portal, the foreign minister visited the wards of the patients at the Abdi Waluyo hospital and made a press statement.
Four Indonesians, a German and an Austrian national are said to be currently treated at the hospital. One of the injured Indonesians is a police officer, the news portal reported, citing police chief, Tito Karnavian.
On Thursday, a series of explosions hit Indonesia’s capital, leaving at least seven people dead and another 26 injured, according to one of the local police heads.
Daesh (Islamic State), outlawed in many countries around the world, including Russia, has claimed responsibility for the attack, according to media reports.
