BLAGOVESHCHENSK (Sputnik) — The first tactical exercises scheduled for 2016 with live firing from the Tor-M2 air defense system are due to take place at the Telemba military training range in the Republic of Buryatia, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Eastern Military District’s press service said Friday.
According to the ministry, a total of some 10 large-scale air defense drills with the involvement of S-400, S-300, Tor, Buk and other air defense systems are due to take place at the Telemba training ground this year.
In 2016, Telemba is due to host an international stage of an air defense units' contest, with the participation of teams from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and other countries.
