No More Refugees? Austria Calls for Germany to End Its ‘Culture of Welcome'
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the SWR broadcaster, the protest was supported by 80 organizations, including trade unions, political parties, churches and migrant associations.

The protesters urged to stop hostile treatment of refugees arriving in the country but called recent attacks on women in Cologne "terrible acts."

On New Year's Eve, hundreds of women in Cologne were reportedly robbed, threatened and sexually assaulted by small groups of aggressive men, mostly of Arab and North African origin.

More than a million people – mostly from North Africa and the Middle East – claimed asylum in Germany last year.
