BLAGOVESHCHENSK (Sputnik) – Russia’s construction company Spetsstroy has done everything possible so that the first launch from the new Vostochny Cosmodrome will occur in April of this year, Spetsstroy Deputy Director Alexander Mordovets said.
“I can only say that [the date of the first launch is possible] from the point of view of the construction readiness of the cosmodrome’s facilities. The main overall work on the facilities providing for the first launch of the rocket carrier is practically finished; that is we’ve done everything possible from our side so that the first launch is possible in April,” Mordovets told RIA Novosti in an interview.
