CAIRO (Sputnik) — Soviet-developed Tochka and Scud tactical ballistic missiles are used by Yemen's armed forces and show good results in the fight against the Saudi Arabia-led coalition, Yemeni army spokesman Brig. Gen. Sharaf Ghalib Luqman said Tuesday.
"We have the possibilities and know how to use them. They laughed at us, saying that all we have are old Russian weapons, but these weapons have put a stop to the arrogance of American weaponry. We are using the Soviet Tochka complex with high precision," Luqman told RIA Novosti.
"In addition, we use modernized Scud systems. The missiles have shown impressive results in Saudi Arabia. All this has contributed to changing the course of the ongoing war," he added.
