KIEV (Sputnik) – Ukrainian authorities will challenge Russia's restrictions on the transit of Ukrainian products with the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ukrainian Trade Representative Natalia Mykolska said Tuesday.
"The next step is to initiate a dispute settlement, first of all on transit issues. We believe Russia's actions breach general WTO principles and the obligations the Russian Federation took upon itself by entering WTO," Mykolska told reporters.
Kiev will also raise the issue of Moscow allegedly breaching WTO rules with its food import embargo against Ukraine, she said.
