MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The use of information technology to disseminate ideas of fascism, extremism, terrorism, and separatism threatens Russia’s security, Russian Security Council Secretary Aide Alexander Grebyonkin said Wednesday.
“The Strategy [of Russian security] names one of the threats to the country’s security the destructive activity tied to the use of information and communication technologies for the dissemination and propaganda of ideologies of fascism, extremism, terrorism, and separatism, as well as damaging civil peace, and political and social stability in society,” the Security Council’s press service quoted Grebyonkin as saying.
