WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Russia had $88 billion of US securities in November of last year compared to $82 billion in October, the Treasury Department said on Tuesday.
The hike comes after two consecutive months of reductions totaling more than $7 billion. Russia’s current position is almost 20 percent lower than a year ago.
Russia is fifteenth on the list of holders of US securities, right behind Singapore. China leads the list at $1.3 trillion followed by Japan at $1.1 trillion.
