MOSCOW (Sputnik) – French Economy Minister Emmanuel Macron will arrive in Moscow on January 25 to discuss the implementation of joint projects and the prospects for cooperation in a wide range of areas with his Russian colleagues, the French Embassy in Russia said Thursday.
"The implementation of joint projects in energy, space and aviation, transport, road construction and nuclear energy, as well as the prospects of cooperation in the area of innovation and interaction with small and medium-sized businesses is due to be discussed," the embassy told RIA Novosti.
Macron is expected to take part in a number of events during his visit, the diplomatic mission indicated.
In particular, he will head the French delegation at the 21st session of the Economic, Financial, Industrial and Trade Council (CEFIC), meet representatives of Russian and French companies, and open the website of the La French Tech project at Skolkovo Innovation Center, according to the embassy.
