MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian Aerospace Forces Commander stressed that maximum priority would be given to joint drills held with other structures of the Russian Armed Forces this year.
"If there were 450 Aerospace forces exercises in 2015, in 2016 their share will increase to 500 various exercises. We will also increase the number of joint training exercises with the Land Force, the Airborne Forces, the Navy and the Strategic Missile Forces," Bondarev told reporters.
Bondarev added that snap combat readiness inspections would continue in 2016, saying that first difficulties associated with the practice were fixed three years ago.
