Over 160 competitors took part in the annual dog sled racing event called 'By the Land of Sampo' that was held on January 23-24 in the vicinity of the city of Petrozavodsk, Russia.
Only a single team managed to clear the 'special distance': a 120 kilometer journey split into three 40km legs that must be completed in three days, one day per stage.
