MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The negotiations on the Syrian reconciliation should go along with the fight against the terrorism, one of the leaders of the Syrian Popular Front for Change and Liberation said Monday.

"The logic that the negotiations should start prior to the fight against terrorism is wrong. They must go hand in hand. One cannot separate the negotiations and the fight against terrorism," Qadri Jamil said at a press conference at the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.

According to Jamil, the sides to the Syrian conflict have three main objectives that should go in parallel, namely the resolution of a humanitarian catastrophe, the anti-terror fight and the peace talks.
