MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) has still not received invitations for intra-Syrian talks scheduled for January 29 and without Kurdish participation, the talks will fail, PYD Co-Chair Saleh Muslim said Wednesday.
"We have still not received any invitation… If we are absent, the talks will fail," Muslim told RIA Novosti.
According to reports earlier in the day, UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura told French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius that he had not invited any representatives from the PYD to the intra-Syrian talks.
