MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian ruble strengthened on the currency exchange rates against the dollar and euro on Thursday, trading at 75.89 rubles to the dollar and 82.92 rubles to the euro in a reaction to growing Brent oil prices of around $34 to the barrel, according to Moscow exchange market statistics.
The ruble gained 1.77 rubles to the dollar to 75.89, the lowest since January 13, and 1.68 rubles to the euro to 82.92.
