MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The much-anticipated direct talks between Damascus officials and Syrian opposition have not been postponed beyond January 29, a spokeswoman for UN Syria Envoy told Sputnik on Thursday.
"We have not rescheduled the talks. We've heard reports that they have been postponed but it's not true. We will make an official statement [regarding the issue] and send it to the media," Khawla Mattar said in a phone call.
