MOSCOW (Sputnik) — One person was killed and several others wounded in a gun and knife attack at the Coliseum in Denver, the capital of the US state Colorado, local police said Saturday.
"Confirming one party deceased and numerous others wounded in shooting/stabbing at Denver Coliseum," the Denver Police Department tweeted.
Multiple shootings and a stabbing was reported earlier in the day by the Denver Post newspaper. It cited police spokesman Sonny Jackson who said that at least two people had been shot at and one had been stabbed.
The Denver Coliseum is hosting a Colorado Motorcycle Expo this weekend. The outlet cited an unnamed eyewitness who said the incident was between rival biker gangs.
